On 30/5/2009 before the adidas sundown marathon, we shopped around for our wedding band, hoping to get the nautica watch..We visited Citigem, Gold heart, Poh Heng and Lee Hwa. The princess cut diamond wedding band caught our attention immediately when we went to Lee Hwa Jewellery. We loved the design but the diamond seemed abit too small. Hence, we decided to custom made our ring.. Even then, the maximum size of the diamond that can be placed on the female ring is 0.11 carat. The max for the guy is 0.16 carat. Understand from the sales rep that curently their factory do not have my 0.11 carat diamond and they have to place an advance order. It will take roughly 3 months to custom made the ring. Hopefully it will be in time for my wedding photoshoot in Oct 2009.
We paid $1299 in full for both rings after discount.
How? how? how? still short of $111 to get the nautica watch. Hahaha.. Since we need to get some gold jewelleries for our wedding, we decided to buy one small item first from Poh Heng.. After a few rounds of selection, I decided to buy this 4.1 gram gold ring which is priced at $258. Didn't know that gold price is so expensive nowadays... We finally managed to get our white coloured nautica watch. Too bad, at the time of this article, this white watch has turned "Black" after 2 weeks of wearing it. Hence, no photos will be published here. hahahaa...
